Product Management Lead - Hyperscale Custom Silicon
Role Summary
Lead product management for Marvell's custom cloud silicon offerings targeted at hyperscale data centers and next-generation AI systems. Own inbound/outbound product strategy, roadmaps, customer engagements, and cross-functional execution from exploration through design win to volume production.
Expected base pay range: USD 187,520–280,900 per year.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include defining product strategy and driving customer programs for custom silicon across compute and acceleration domains.
- Lead customer engagements with hyperscalers from exploration through design wins and deployment.
- Define and drive product roadmaps for custom CPUs, XPUs, DPUs, and acceleration devices aligned to customer needs.
- Analyze hyperscaler architectures, use cases, competition, and market dynamics to shape product strategy.
- Build financial and business cases to influence customer buying decisions and internal prioritization.
- Collaborate with architects, engineering, operations, and sales to execute customer programs and deliver reference designs.
- Manage product lifecycle and NPI processes from first engagement to stable volume production.
- Produce market and competitive intelligence, sales collateral, technical notes, demos, and field enablement materials.
- Maintain and grow multi-level customer relationships and support global sales teams in engagements.
Requirements

- 10+ years of relevant data center experience and prior product management leadership in the semiconductor industry.
- Deep understanding of compute, networking, and AI hardware ecosystem (CPUs, XPUs, DPUs, accelerators) and how these devices are customized by hyperscalers.
- Demonstrated product lifecycle and NPI management across complex product programs.
- Business planning experience: market/technology trend tracking, TAM/SAM/SOM sizing, revenue forecasting, competitive analysis, and pricing.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for internal and customer-facing engagements.
- Proven cross-functional leadership and ability to work as a self-starter across engineering, sales, and operations.
- Ability to support export-controlled work; candidates may be subject to export license review as required by U.S. regulations.
Nice-to-have:
- Direct experience engaging hyperscale data center customers and knowledge of their system-level needs.
Education Requirements
B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field is required. M.S./M.Eng (e.g., MSEE) and/or MBA are preferred. The posting allows related technical degrees; no explicit mention of acceptable equivalent practical experience beyond related fields.
