Role Summary

The Product IC Quality and Reliability (Q&R) Engineer ensures Annapurna Labs semiconductor products meet quality, reliability, and production requirements. The role partners with design, manufacturing, and operations teams to embed design-for-quality and reliability, execute reliability validation, and support product qualification.

Team location: Annapurna Labs Q&R group in Haifa; the IC Q&R team supports IC- and card-level qualification, supplier quality, and production qualification activities.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include defining and executing reliability and qualification work for Annapurna Labs products.

  • Define and implement DFQR (Design-for-Quality-and-Reliability) and DFRT requirements with design teams.
  • Assess Q&R risks and develop reliability validation (RV) plans and design-of-experiments (DOEs).
  • Plan, execute, and analyze product qualification and reliability validation campaigns.
  • Support debug and root-cause analysis for qualification and reliability failures.
  • Perform reliability modeling, statistical analysis, and reporting of results to stakeholders.
  • Support qualification of new technologies, vendors, materials, and supplier processes.
  • Collaborate with fab, OSATs, and test partners to improve yield and production quality.
  • Maintain test plans, test infrastructure requirements, and automation for repeatable validation.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience to perform the role; preferred items are listed separately.

  • 4+ years' experience in semiconductor reliability (qualification, RV, or related).
  • Knowledge of semiconductor physics, VLSI IC design, manufacturing, testing, and failure analysis.
  • Experience in IC- and system-level testing and debug, including qualification test execution.
  • Familiarity with reliability engineering concepts and statistical analysis for reliability data.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous engineering environments and collaborating across stakeholders.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with scripting/automation using Python, Perl, or similar.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor production flows, FAB processes, OSATs, and ODMs.
  • Extensive knowledge of Q&R test methods, stresses, and reliability test standards.
  • Experience creating DOEs and advanced reliability statistics.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is listed as a basic qualification; a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred. (No certifications or alternative degree fields specified.)
