Product Engineering Architect - Verification

Role Summary

Technical architect responsible for driving customer evaluations, benchmarks, and technical engagements for Cadence Verification Division products. Works closely with Sales, corporate engineering, and marketing to define customer requirements and influence product direction.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include supporting sales-driven technical evaluations and customer projects, delivering training and demos, and coordinating with internal teams.

• Collaborate with Sales to scope technical opportunities and evaluations.
• Plan, execute, and manage technical evaluations and benchmarking with customers.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support, training, presentations, and demos.
• Support customer projects through ramp-up and hands-on engagement.
• Provide expert technical answers to customer queries and escalate product-direction feedback to engineering and marketing.

• At least 19–20 years of industry experience in verification, prototyping, and consumer application design/debugging using EDA solutions.
• Practical experience with SoC emulation/acceleration and hybrid solutions; hands-on experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with simulators (e.g., IES, VCS) and experience with emulators/accelerators (e.g., PXP, Zebu, Veloce).
• Knowledge of Linux and Tcl is required.
• Experience with UVM, Verification IPs, or transactors is a strong plus.
• Program and engagement management skills; effective team player.
• Strong English communication skills and experience working in a global customer-facing environment.
• Valid passport with no travel limitations; willingness to travel as required.
