Role Summary
Senior product leader responsible for defining and delivering EDA products for analog and custom/layout design flows. Lead product strategy, technical vision, and cross-functional execution to deliver automation- and AI-enabled workflows used in production semiconductor design.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Core responsibilities focus on product leadership, technical direction, and customer engagement across EDA solutions for analog/layout design.
- Define product strategy and roadmaps for analog/custom IC and physical implementation tools.
- Specify and deliver features and workflows that improve engineering productivity and design quality.
- Drive integration of automation, AI/ML, generative/agentic AI into engineering workflows.
- Engage with customers to gather requirements, validate concepts, and drive adoption.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (product management, engineering, sales, customer support) to ensure successful product delivery and market fit.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to product and engineering teams.
- Ensure products meet production semiconductor design flow requirements and quality standards.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience required to perform the role.
- 18+ years of professional experience in semiconductor design, EDA, or closely related technical domains.
- Proven track record of defining and delivering impactful solutions, workflows, or products used by customers.
- Experience applying automation, AI, or machine learning to improve engineering workflows.
- Deep understanding of one or more of: analog and custom IC design; standard cell design and optimization; physical implementation; design migration and design reuse; semiconductor design automation; physical verification, extraction, and simulation workflows.
- Experience collaborating directly with customers to define needs and drive technology adoption.
- Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Experience delivering software products used in production semiconductor design flows.
Preferred / Nice-to-have:
- Hands-on experience with analog/custom IC design workflows, circuit simulation and SPICE.
- Familiarity with analog verification flows, DRC/LVS, and parasitic extraction.
- Knowledge of OpenAccess-based design environments and commercial EDA platforms (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso).
- Demonstrated technical leadership and multi-functional collaboration in product teams.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
