Role Summary
Senior product leader responsible for defining and delivering EDA solutions for analog and custom IC design. The role focuses on product strategy, technical direction, and integrating automation and AI into semiconductor engineering workflows.
The position partners with engineering, product management, sales, and customers to turn technical ideas into production software used in semiconductor design flows.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 18+ years of professional experience in semiconductor design, EDA, or closely related technical domains.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include driving product direction and ensuring successful delivery and adoption.
- Define product strategy and roadmap for analog/custom IC design tools and workflows.
- Lead product definition, prioritize features, and guide development teams to delivery.
- Apply automation and AI techniques to improve engineering productivity and workflows.
- Engage with customers to gather requirements, validate solutions, and drive adoption.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, sales, customer-facing groups).
- Champion product-market fit, support commercialization, and measure impact on users.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor teams on domain-specific best practices.

Must-have: 18+ years of professional experience in semiconductor design, EDA, or equivalent domains with a record of delivering impactful solutions or products.

Must-have: Proven ability to apply automation, AI, or machine learning to engineering workflows and product features.

Must-have: Deep domain knowledge in one or more areas: analog/custom IC design, standard-cell design and optimization, physical implementation, design migration/reuse, semiconductor design automation, or physical verification/extraction/simulation workflows.

Must-have: Strong customer-facing experience: gathering requirements, validating workflows, and driving adoption.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice-to-have: Experience with circuit simulation (SPICE), analog verification flows, DRC/LVS, parasitic extraction.

Nice-to-have: Familiarity with OpenAccess environments and commercial EDA platforms (for example, Cadence Virtuoso).

Nice-to-have: History of delivering software used in production semiconductor design flows and demonstrated technical leadership.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field β or equivalent practical experience.
