Product Engineer (NPI Development)
Role Summary
The Product Engineer supports New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to move products from development into reliable, manufacturable mass production. The role partners with global, cross-functional R&D, test, quality, manufacturing and marketing teams to ensure launches meet schedule, performance, and reliability targets.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early career. The posting indicates candidates with a minimum of 2 years' relevant engineering experience are preferred, but fresh graduates are also considered.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities during qualification, characterization, and production ramp-up include:
- Support end-to-end New Product Introduction from development through mass production.
- Coordinate with global R&D and cross-functional teams to meet launch schedules and reduce risk.
- Lead product qualification, characterization, and validation testing to verify performance and reliability.
- Analyze product performance data and identify technical risks or gaps.
- Support reliability assessments and implement corrective actions during qualification.
- Ensure product manufacturability during production ramp-up and support yield improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with test, quality, design, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
- Track launch readiness and help drive issue resolution.
