Product Engineer II - Verification

Role Summary

Work with Sales, Engineering, and Marketing to scope, validate, and demonstrate Cadence Verification Division products for customers. Lead technical evaluations, benchmarking, and customer ramp-up activities, and deliver trainings, demos, and ongoing technical support.

This role focuses on verification/prototyping solutions and customer-facing technical engagements to drive product adoption and inform product direction.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Candidate should have a minimum of 6+ years of industry experience in verification, prototyping, or related EDA roles.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include managing customer technical evaluations, enabling adoption, and acting as a technical resource across sales and engineering.

• Collaborate with Sales to identify and scope customer opportunities for verification products.
• Plan, execute, and manage technical evaluations and benchmarking with customers.
• Support customer ramp-up and project execution; provide technical troubleshooting and guidance.
• Deliver trainings, presentations, and product demonstrations to customers.
• Provide expert responses to complex client technical queries.
• Coordinate with corporate engineering and product teams on customer requirements and product improvements.

Requirements

• Must-have: Minimum 6+ years experience in verification, prototyping, or consumer application design/debugging using EDA solutions.
• Must-have: Practical experience with simulators (e.g., IES, VCS) and exposure to emulators/accelerators (e.g., PXP, Zebu, Veloce).
• Must-have: Strong Linux skills and working knowledge of Tcl.
• Must-have: Strong program or engagement management skills; effective team player and ability to work with global customers and internal teams.
• Must-have: Good English communication skills and willingness to travel; current passport with no travel limitations required.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with SoC emulation/acceleration, hybrid solutions, UVM, Verification IPs, or transactors.
• Preferred: Experience running benchmarks, creating verification environments, and delivering customer training/demos for EDA products.

Education Requirements

Minimum Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. The posting specifies a BS-level qualification in CS or EE.
