Role Summary

Join the Digital Sign-off Group to develop and maintain power-noise reliability analysis capabilities for digital designs. The role focuses on PDN/IR/EM analysis, electrothermal optimization, 3DIC workflows and AI-driven IR mitigation while working closely with R&D and product engineering to deliver customer-facing solutions.

Responsibilities

Deliver and support power integrity and PDN analysis features and workflows; collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.

  • Develop and validate PDN/IR/EM analysis methodologies and flows for digital sign-off.
  • Implement and optimize electrothermal and 3DIC analysis techniques.
  • Integrate AI-driven IR mitigation and fixing approaches into product workflows.
  • Work with R&D to translate research into product features and maintain technical roadmaps.
  • Support strategic customers by diagnosing complex PDN, IR, and power-integrity issues and delivering solutions.
  • Provide functional product engineering input across the Multiphysics space and assist with customer escalations.

Requirements

  • Practical experience with digital logic design, CMOS logic concepts, and power/IR drop analysis.
  • Experience with circuit analysis, digital/behavioral simulation, and debugging IR/EM/PDN-related issues.
  • Familiarity with physical design flows, including automated placement and routing tools.
  • Proficiency with scripting (Python or TCL) for tool automation and flow development.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; ability to collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to explore unconventional solutions to meet technical goals.
  • Nice-to-have: exposure to electrothermal analysis, 3DIC-specific challenges, and AI-driven mitigation techniques.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, VLSI/Electronics, or a closely related field with 3+ years of related experience; OR a Master's degree with relevant coursework in digital systems or electrical engineering. Relevant coursework or project experience in advanced digital logic, VLSI, physical design implementation, and power integrity is expected.
