Product Engineer, Global Operation Engineering (GOE)
Role Summary
Technical owner for assigned products responsible for managing product cost, manufacturability, and quality across production and test. The role drives targeted cost and quality improvements, including yield, test-time reduction, and reduction of cost of non-quality (CoNQ).

Responsibilities
Work across business, manufacturing, and factory engineering to ensure high-quality, manufacturable products that meet time-to-market and cost targets.
- Collaborate with Business Line to support product creation and with Manufacturing to deliver manufacturable products and test solutions.
- Work with Factory Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues, BOM setup, product flow definition, and disposition of non-conforming material.
- Lead root-cause analysis and test containment for customer application failures, providing 8D responses where required.
- Support fab/assembly/test center transfers and volume ramp-up activities.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) characterization, qualification, and transition to volume production.
- Drive and implement product cost and quality improvement projects (yield, test time, CoNQ, zero-defect practices).
