Product Engineer, Advanced Data Analytics — Heterogeneous Integration Group (HBM Product Engineering)
Role Summary
Responsible for developing and deploying data-driven product-disposition and analytics solutions to improve yield, quality, and reliability for HBM products within the Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG). Works with cross-functional teams across fab, technology, design, system development, and quality to deliver production-ready solutions.
Position is based on-site at Fab 10A in Singapore and includes international travel to Taiwan.
Experience Level
Mid-level — 3+ years in data analytics or data science preferred; outstanding fresh graduates are also considered.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, validate, and deploy product-disposition workflows to reduce defects and improve product quality.
- Perform engineering data analysis using statistical tools, machine learning, and AI to improve yield and reliability.
- Create deviation alert systems to monitor yield loss and parameter trends at wafer, die, and cube levels.
- Develop ML and deep-learning algorithms for data mining, pattern recognition, screening, and efficiency improvements.
- Mentor and develop team members; provide technical leadership on projects.
- Collaborate with Fab, HBM technology and design, system development, and quality/reliability teams to integrate solutions into production.
- Promote innovation and drive technical changes that improve KPIs such as quality, cost, cycle time, and scalability.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:

Must-have: Practical experience in data analytics or data science; familiarity with tools such as JMP, Tableau, and Power BI.

Must-have: Strong communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Must-have: Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and to mentor or coach others.

Must-have: Willingness to work on-site in Singapore and travel internationally (e.g., Taiwan).

Nice-to-have: Prior experience in Micron product engineering or the semiconductor industry.

Nice-to-have: Experience developing, deploying, and validating AI/ML models for manufacturing KPIs.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Statistics, or a related engineering field. The posting also welcomes outstanding fresh graduates.
