Job Title

Career Accelerator Program - Test Equipment Engineer (DLP)

Role Summary

Test Equipment Engineer on TI's DLP® Automotive and Cinema Display product line. The role supports productization by maintaining and improving test equipment, coordinating test projects, and troubleshooting test fixtures and boards.

Works with Automated/Test (A/T) teams, headquarters test teams, and subcontractors to improve test throughput, yield, and reliability.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include maintaining and improving test equipment and supporting test projects:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair test equipment and test stations.
  • Perform equipment upgrades, calibrations, and improvements to utilization, capacity, and test issues.
  • Coordinate evaluation and implementation of test projects and process changes.
  • Interface with subcontractors and internal test teams to investigate and resolve test issues.
  • Troubleshoot and verify test kits, probe cards, BI boards and test boards.
  • Provide flexible support and adapt to new functions to meet team requirements.

  • Proficiency with PC and Office applications and strong data-collection skills.
  • Interest in or experience with semiconductor test environments.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Teamwork, ability to multi-task, and self-motivation.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience working with foundry, assembly, or equipment engineering teams.
  • Good English communication skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering-related field (examples listed: Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or similar technical disciplines).
