Product Engineer — Advanced Data Analytics, Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG), High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Product Engineering

Role Summary

The Product Engineer applies data analytics, machine learning, and statistical methods to improve yield, reliability, and product quality for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) products. The role sits in the Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG) Product Engineering team and focuses on data-driven disposition workflows, anomaly detection, and cross-functional problem solving.

The engineer will develop and deploy analytics solutions, mentor team members, and work with manufacturing, design, quality, and system teams to ensure successful product delivery.

Experience Level

Mid-level — preferred 3+ years in data analytics or data science. Outstanding recent graduates with strong analytics skills may be considered.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include building analytics systems and collaborating across functions to improve product outcomes.

• Develop, validate, and deploy product-disposition solutions and workflows to reduce defects and improve product quality.
• Perform engineering data analysis using statistical tools, machine learning, and AI to improve yield and reliability and integrate findings into disposition workflows.
• Design and implement deviation/alert systems to monitor yield loss, parameter trends, and wafer/die/cube shading.
• Build and validate advanced algorithms and ML/DL models for data mining, pattern recognition, screening, and efficiency improvements.
• Mentor and develop team members; provide technical leadership on analytics projects.
• Collaborate with Fab operations, HBM technology and design teams, system development, and quality/reliability groups to drive product readiness and shipping.
• Promote technical innovation and drive changes that improve quality, cost, cycle time, and scalability.

Requirements

• Practical experience with data analytics or data science (preferred 3+ years) and demonstrable technical leadership.
• Experience developing and deploying ML/AI models and algorithms for engineering or manufacturing data.
• Proficiency with data extraction and analysis tools; experience with tools such as JMP, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams to solve complex engineering and business problems.
• Experience mentoring or coaching team members.
• Willingness to work on-site in Singapore and travel internationally (Taiwan) as required.
• Nice-to-have: prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing or Micron product engineering; experience leading technical programs.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Statistics, or a related engineering field is stated. The posting also notes outstanding fresh graduates may apply, indicating equivalent practical experience may be considered.
