Role Summary

Entry-level Product Engineer on the Austin team supporting development, qualification, and high-volume production of power semiconductor products, including power management ICs and power stages. Work cross-functionally to enable new product introduction (NPI), product qualification, and sustaining activities.

Experience Level

Entry-level — 0–2 years of professional experience. Role is targeted at recent graduates: BS with up to 2 years experience or MS with 0 years experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include supporting product readiness, data-driven analysis, and cross-functional execution for NPI and production.

• Support product engineering across NPI, qualification, production release, and sustaining.
• Assist with silicon characterization, product evaluation, and data analysis to meet NPI milestones.
• Own BOM release and maintenance.
• Collaborate with design and test engineering to improve manufacturability and yield.
• Analyze yield, test, and reliability data; support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support customer qualification and resolve product or field issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in quality, cost, and cycle time.
• Communicate technical status and escalations to management and drive mitigation efforts.

Requirements

Required skills and experience; separated into must-have and nice-to-have items.

• Must-have: Interest in power semiconductor products (power management ICs, analog/mixed-signal, power stages); strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with lab equipment and data analysis tools; strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Nice-to-have: Programming skills and prior internship experience.

Education Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (acceptable with up to 2 years' experience) OR MS in the same fields (acceptable with 0 years' experience). Posting allows related-discipline degrees and notes prior internships as beneficial.
