Product Engineer

Role Summary

Work as a hardware-assisted verification and interface solutions engineer focused on Veloce emulation and prototyping for pre- and post-silicon validation, verification, and software bring-up of complex SoC and FPGA designs. The role involves customer-facing technical work, solution deployment, training, and cross-team feedback to product development.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Typical experience: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience or Master's degree with 2+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical solutions and customer support for emulation and prototyping platforms; contribute to example designs, training, and product feedback.

  • Assist applications engineers and customers with integration and debugging of interface solutions in hardware-assisted verification environments.
  • Create and support example designs and QEMU-based test software for verification workflows.
  • Develop and deliver technical trainings and presentations for field teams and customers.
  • Drive and deploy Veloce emulation and prototyping technology at customer sites with hands-on execution.
  • Provide technical customer service and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with sales to identify and expand business opportunities.
  • Provide product feedback and technical requirements to product marketing and development teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical obstacles across software and hardware platforms.
  • Produce technical papers and presentations for management and conferences.
  • Work independently on complex projects with limited supervision.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.

  • Must-have: Practical experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog.
  • Must-have: Prior use of QEMU in a test or verification environment.
  • Must-have: Understanding and hands-on experience with one or more interface protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, AMBA-based protocols, or memory interface protocols.
  • Must-have: Strong customer-facing communication skills and ability to support customer integrations and debug on-site.
  • Must-have: Ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues and coordinate with software/hardware vendors.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with multimedia protocols (CSI, DSI, HDMI, DisplayPort).
  • Nice-to-have: Experience using a Protocol Analyzer tool for Veloce emulation debug or equivalent debug tooling.
  • Nice-to-have: Prior experience in application engineering or similar customer-facing roles for emulation or prototype systems.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years of related experience. No specific field of study mandated in the posting.
