Role Summary

Coordinate new product development activities and work with cross-functional engineering teams to define product requirements, evaluate risks, and develop test and qualification plans.

Ensure timely completion of design, manufacturing, testing, characterization, qualification and release with attention to manufacturability, quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include:

• Coordinate all phases of new product development: definition, design, manufacturing, testing, characterization, qualification and release.
• Collaborate with functional engineering teams (TME/DE/TD/TE/RE) to create comprehensive test and qualification plans and perform risk evaluations during definition and design stages.
• Ensure products are manufacturable and can be thoroughly characterized and qualified for reliability and quality.
• Organize assignments, manage schedules, and drive projects to timely completion.
• Analyze data and apply problem-solving techniques to develop practical solutions that improve products and processes.

Requirements

Must-have skills and competencies:

• Knowledge or experience with analog and digital circuits, device physics, IC manufacturing, assembly and IC testing processes.
• Familiarity with IC bench setup and testing procedures.
• Statistical data analysis and ability to summarize test results.
• Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking and schedule organization.
• Self-motivated, able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Education Requirements

MS in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field is required ("MS in Electrical Engineering or similar areas" appears in the posting).
