Role Summary

Join Intel's Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) team in the Data Center Group (DCG) as a Product Development Engineer on a contract basis. The role supports global teams to enable the product roadmap by evaluating and debugging test programs, resolving test-related manufacturability issues, and improving product test performance.

Experience Level

Entry-level — 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Typical duties include technical evaluation, debugging, and data-driven improvements to testing and product health.

• Evaluate and debug new test programs and test program validation processes.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturability issues related to test hardware and software.
• Analyze test data and deploy solutions to improve test coverage, yield, capacity, and product health metrics.
• Develop and debug support software used for validation, data analysis, and debugging.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams and communicate technical status and findings.

Requirements

• Practical experience with test program evaluation, debugging, and test-support software development.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Experience with data analysis and deploying data-driven improvements for yield, capacity, or test coverage.
• Nice-to-have: PERL and object-oriented programming skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Telecommunication, Automation and Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. The posting indicates 1–3 years of experience alongside the degree requirement.
