Product Development Engineer

Role Summary

Work on High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) product development, ensuring designs meet JEDEC standards and internal architecture requirements. The role involves validation, testing, debugging, simulation, and collaboration with product engineering and cross-functional teams to move designs from development through high-volume manufacturing.

Primary tasks include electrical verification of HBM designs, lab-based hardware and software debugging, data analysis, and supporting integration across teams to maintain design integrity and performance.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on validating and delivering robust HBM hardware designs and supporting the product engineering lifecycle.

  • Interpret and ensure compliance with JEDEC specifications for HBM.
  • Develop and document internal architecture and hardware design details.
  • Interpret schematic and PCB/layout principles and contribute to hardware designs.
  • Validate HBM designs via testing and verification; analyze results to drive design decisions.
  • Perform hardware and firmware/software debugging in the lab to isolate and resolve issues.
  • Use digital and analog circuit simulation to predict and analyze electrical behavior.
  • Collaborate with product engineering and cross-functional teams for design integration and manufacturing readiness.
  • Support systematic debugging and problem solving from initial design through high-volume manufacturing.
