Product Data Operations Engineering Systems Analyst
Role Summary
Work on product lifecycle and engineering operations for chip products, ensuring accurate product data, release governance, and smooth transitions across engineering, planning, and manufacturing teams. The role is based in Hsinchu and partners with engineering, IT, subcontractors, and manufacturing partners.
Experience Level
Mid-level (typically 5+ years of relevant manufacturing or semiconductor program experience).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include managing product data and coordinating program releases across cross-functional teams.
- Support end-to-end chip product lifecycle setup, program changes, releases, and phase transitions across engineering groups.
- Plan and drive release governance: build and manage release schedules, track dependencies, and execute cutover plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional release reviews and validate downstream readiness (materials, routing/flows, test, yields, locations).
- Translate engineering definitions into manufacturable item structures (wafers, dice, assemblies, SKUs) and validate attribute completeness and traceability.
- Maintain and transfer accurate configuration and item data between E2OpenSerus and SAP.
- Work with IT and vendors to create and maintain I/O links and application objects to ensure data integrity and execution.
- Record and update production flows, BOMs, yields, bin fractions, and test-time forecasts; manage manual deviations in PLM systems.
- Analyze data systems and processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
Requirements
Must-have technical experience, domain knowledge, and professional skills.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing programs, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Familiarity with outsourced manufacturing (OSAT) and the fabless semiconductor manufacturing flow.
- Hands-on experience with E2OpenSerus, Windchill, and SAP; strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI; experience with vendor/subcontractor coordination and application integrations.
- Strong organizational skills, resilience, and the ability to work outside standard hours when required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate business needs into development requirements and maintain data accuracy across platforms.
- Nice to have: familiarity with Python, SQL, HTML, XML, Visual Basic, and modern AI-assisted tools for data tasks.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
