Role Summary
Join the Semiconductor Process Engineering team supporting diffusion and related wafer fabrication technologies. The role balances reactive sustaining work with proactive process-improvement projects to maintain and enhance production performance.
The engineer will work across furnacing, wafer cleaning, sputtering, passivation, evaporation and rapid thermal processing to sustain daily production and deliver capability, yield and cost improvements.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include sustaining production, troubleshooting, and delivering continuous-improvement projects:
- Sustain and improve mechanical and electrical yields to meet departmental targets.
- Monitor and improve process capability (Cpk) and coordinate R&R studies on metrology equipment.
- Investigate and resolve process excursions and production issues; provide technical support to manufacturing.
- Plan and deliver technical improvement projects focused on yield, cost, throughput, manufacturability and capability.
- Support new product and platform introductions via process development activities.
- Create and maintain accurate wafer fab operator instructions and process documentation.
- Ensure compliance with departmental procedures and quality standards.
Requirements
Must-have skills and conditions:
- Experience working in the semiconductor industry as a Process Engineer.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take technical initiative.
- Effective communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritise work and perform under pressure.
- Competent with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Able to work a rotating shift pattern of 12-hour shifts (typically two weeks days, one week nights).

Nice-to-have:
- Experience specifically with diffusion engineering processes.
Education Requirements
