Process Engineer
Role Summary
Manufacturing/Process Engineer supporting the Spatium® Solid State Power Amplifier production line in Richardson, TX. The role focuses on supporting production, optimizing processes, executing development and improvement projects, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve yield, cycle time, and cost.
This is an onsite position expected to be on-site five days per week in Richardson, Texas.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include process characterization, cross-functional collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.
- Design and execute controlled experiments (DOE) to evaluate and improve process capability and reduce variation.
- Analyze process and yield data using statistical tools to identify root causes and correlations.
- Support manufacturing operations and development/improvement projects concurrently.
- Lead small project teams for cost reduction, cycle time improvement, and yield enhancement.
- Perform ROI analyses to justify new equipment or process changes.
- Partner with operators, technicians, and engineers to identify and eliminate defect sources; take ownership of assigned processes.
- Provide occasional support for equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Collaborate with management, logistics, production, maintenance, and facilities to execute improvements.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and skills.
- 0–2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Knowledge of SPC, DOE, and FDC methodologies.
- Basic understanding of RF principles.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Spotfire and JMP.
- Experience developing and executing qualification plans.
- Strong structured problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-have / Preferred:
- Experience in box build assembly and RF testing.
- Familiarity with new product introduction (NPI), fixture design, and test documentation.
- Exposure to CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Programming or scripting experience (e.g., SQL queries).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences (required).
