Probe Test Solution Engineer (TSE)

Role Summary

Develop, debug, and maintain test programs that enable testing of advanced semiconductor memory devices. The role typically focuses on one area (Probe, Burn‑in, Final Test, or Module Test) and supports 1st‑silicon/NPI activities through High‑Volume Manufacturing (HVM).

Use available engineering tools, including AI-enabled tools where appropriate, to improve productivity, documentation, issue tracking, and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop, debug, and maintain test programs and test flows for memory devices.
• Support 1st‑silicon and NPI development through HVM qualification and production release.
• Work within one domain: Probe, Burn‑in, Final Test, or Module Test.
• Perform diagnostics and root-cause analysis; implement corrective actions to resolve test failures.
• Improve technical documentation, issue organization, and engineering workflows using available tools.

Requirements

Must-have skills and expectations:

• Experience in semiconductor test program development, debugging, or validation.
• Familiarity with wafer/probe or test-floor processes in Probe, Burn‑in, Final Test, or Module Test.
• Experience supporting NPI/1st‑silicon activities and transitioning designs to HVM.
• Ability to use engineering tools for documentation, issue tracking, and workflow improvement.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for cross-functional debugging.

Nice-to-have: scripting/programming experience and prior use of AI-enabled engineering tools.
