Job Title

Probe HBM Application Integration Engineer

Role Summary

Integrate and sustain probe automation and manufacturing-execution solutions for HBM probe operations to improve efficiency, yield, and cost performance. The role supports probe manufacturing, data analysis, lot disposition, and new product introduction within the Taichung probe operations team.

Work focuses on automation systems, data-driven process improvement, and applying AI to streamline workloads.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Enable and sustain probe automation systems to improve operational efficiency and manufacturing robustness.
  • Design, build, and implement detailed manufacturing execution solutions for probe operations.
  • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce cost in probe manufacturing.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and generate actionable insights to drive process and yield improvements.
  • Transform raw probe data into test and process information used by Assembly and back-end testing.
  • Perform lot dispositions according to business logic and quality control standards.
  • Apply artificial intelligence and generative-AI tools to enhance workload efficiency and automation.
  • Support new product introduction and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with manufacturing execution systems, probe automation, and new product introduction.
  • Proficiency with Linux and Git; experience programming in at least one language (Python, R, or JavaScript).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with databases and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions to implement process and product changes.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills to address manufacturing challenges.
  • Practical experience applying AI or generative-AI to improve workflows is required.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
