Responsibilities
Own and deliver integrated platform programs, coordinate technical integration, and drive cross-functional execution.
- Define and own integrated program plans including requirements, milestones, dependencies, validation, and release criteria.
- Translate customer commitments into engineering priorities and execution plans for hyperscale customers.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across board design, switch architecture, optics, silicon, firmware, software, validation, product, and operations.
- Drive bring-up, debug, root-cause investigations, and issue resolution across hardware, firmware, switching, and optical interfaces.
- Align validation strategies, qualification milestones, and acceptance criteria to ensure customer deployment readiness.
- Balance schedule, scope, quality, cost, and resources; facilitate timely, informed tradeoff decisions.
- Identify risks early, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and escalate with clear recommendations.
- Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, and suppliers to align prototype availability and transition to production.
- Communicate program health, critical dependencies, and recovery plans to engineering teams, customers, and executives.
- Improve program management practices and execution discipline as platform complexity grows.
Requirements
Key skills and experience required (education is listed below).
- Substantial experience in semiconductors, networking, or systems/platform development.
- Minimum 5 years of technical project or program management experience in the semiconductor or systems/platform industry.
- Demonstrated development experience in one or more: high-speed board design, switch systems, or optics/optical interconnects, and experience managing cross-domain dependencies.
- Technical fluency with high-speed PCB design/layout, signal integrity, switch architectures, optical module integration, and hardware/firmware validation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent development efforts and deliver complex, integrated products to customer requirements.
- Strong cross-functional influence, executive communication, planning, risk analysis, and decision-making under pressure.
- Experience coordinating with supply chain, operations, and manufacturing partners for prototype and production readiness.
- Track record of improving program processes and execution discipline.
- May require eligibility to access export-controlled technology; candidates may be subject to export license review.
- Compensation includes participation in bonus and equity plans.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Master's degree or PhD is a plus. (Source lists degree preferences; equivalent professional experience is not specified explicitly.)
