Role Summary

Lead technical product management for Micron's Data Center SSD product lines, acting as the primary technical liaison to hyperscale and OEM customers and coordinating across engineering, sales, and operations to deliver product requirements, qualification, and volume ramp.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include customer engagement, product strategy, and cross-functional program execution:

  • Serve as primary technical contact for strategic hyperscale and OEM customers for Data Center SSD roadmap and architecture.
  • Translate customer specifications, RFIs/RFQs, and platform constraints into product requirements (MRDs) and engineering actions.
  • Represent Micron in industry standards and ecosystem forums to influence specifications.
  • Coordinate qualification samples, schedules, and escalation paths to support customer EVT/DVT/PVT timelines.
  • Align ASIC, firmware, and systems engineering teams on customer-driven priorities and technical tradeoffs.
  • Partner with sales and segment leadership on account strategy, forecasts, and commercial positioning.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Coordinate with NPI, Business Operations, and TCM/FAE teams to synchronize commitments and supply plans.
  • Mentor other product managers and technical program managers to scale customer-engagement practices.
  • Own product requirements and technical strategy from concept through qualification and volume ramp, and pursue cross-program innovation.

Requirements

  • Nice-to-have: Experience with invention disclosures, architecture-level innovation, and mentoring product managers.
