Principal Technical Product Manager
Role Summary
Lead the vision, strategy, and lifecycle for a software product or product family in Electronic Design Automation (EDA). Partner with engineering, product marketing, sales, and executives to translate market and customer needs into deliverable product plans and go-to-market execution.
Operate across customer engagement, engineering delivery, and business planning to drive product adoption, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
Experience Level
Senior β role expects substantial product management experience. The posting specifies a minimum of 5 years working with software development teams as a product manager, with 10+ years preferred.
Responsibilities
Own product strategy and execution from concept through end-of-life; coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver software that meets customer and business objectives.
- Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and priorities for a product or product family.
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback, market trends, and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities and gaps.
- Translate strategy into requirements, user stories, prototypes, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with engineering in Agile/Scrum environments to manage development sprints and release timelines.
- Lead go-to-market planning, product launches, pricing/packaging decisions, and adoption initiatives in partnership with product marketing and sales.
- Represent the product externally with customers, partners, and analysts; solicit feedback and validate direction.
- Manage product performance versus revenue, adoption, and customer satisfaction targets; make investment and prioritization decisions.
- Lead cross-product initiatives, vendor negotiations, and third-party partnerships when required.
Requirements

Must-have: Minimum 5 years experience as a software product manager working with development teams; strong preference for candidates with 10+ years.

Must-have: Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and prioritize based on business/customer impact.

Must-have: Familiarity with Electronics Design tools and workflows (Mentor/Siemens, Cadence, Altium, Zuken) or equivalent domain knowledge.

Must-have: Experience with Enterprise Agile and Scrum practices and working closely with engineering teams during sprints.

Must-have: Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must-have: Authorization to meet U.S. export control requirements (U.S. Person status) or ability to obtain required export licenses where applicable.

Nice-to-have: Familiarity with product marketing, contract negotiation for product offerings, or direct customer-facing product evangelism experience.

Nice-to-have: Polish language skills are a plus.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline as stated in the posting.
