Role Summary

Senior technical leader responsible for defining and delivering enterprise verification solutions that span multiple DVT products. Acts as a strategic interface between customers, R&D, and product teams to influence product roadmaps and close complex verification gaps.

Focus areas include AI/ML-driven automation, cloud-native EDA workflows, and functional-safety-aware verification for semiconductor and systems customers.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include solution architecture, customer engagement, technical thought leadership, and scaling solutions globally.

• Architect and deliver integrated, cross-product verification solutions addressing complex customer workflows (simulation, formal, coverage, low-power signoff, debug integration).
• Partner with R&D and Product Line Teams to align engineering investments with tier-1 customer requirements and product roadmaps.
• Engage with executive-level customers (C-suite, VPs) to identify high-impact technical challenges and design scalable, reusable solutions.
• Lead competitive displacement strategies and define Siemens differentiation versus competing EDA tools.
• Drive initiatives in AI/ML-driven automation, cloud-native EDA workflows, and Functional Safety (ISO 26262) related verification.
• Produce technical collateral: papers, whitepapers, keynotes, and architecture documents for field teams and customers.
• Scale proven solutions across regions and provide technical mentorship and architectural oversight to senior application and product engineers.

Requirements

Must-have technical experience, domain knowledge, and skills required to perform the role.

• 18+ years of progressive technical leadership in verification engineering, product engineering, EDA solutions architecture, or R&D within the semiconductor or EDA industry.
• Proven track record of architecting and delivering complex, multi-product verification flows for major semiconductor customers.
• Deep domain expertise in simulation, formal verification, low power verification, VIP, emulation, and advanced debug/UX.
• Experience with AI/ML techniques applied to EDA, scalable cloud orchestration, and hardware-software co-verification.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, project governance, and ability to operate in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
• Outstanding executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; experience engaging at C-suite/VP levels.
• Nice-to-have: experience authoring technical papers/keynotes and driving global adoption of solutions; familiarity with competitive tools and displacement strategies.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred. Fields: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
