Experience Level
Senior β requires substantial senior experience; the role requests at least 8 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, scalable security analysis software and lead technical strategy across research and product teams.
- Define and own long-term architecture and technical strategy for core hardware security engines.
- Review and challenge architectural and algorithmic decisions for performance, memory efficiency, and scalability.
- Set technical standards for algorithmic rigor, benchmarking, regression testing, and release readiness.
- Implement and optimize software for correctness, runtime performance, memory footprint, and scalability.
- Ensure determinism, debuggability, and reliability of multi-threaded and distributed systems.
- Drive predictable execution from research through productization in a commercial EDA environment.
- Mentor engineers, foster technical excellence, and develop future technical leaders.
- Communicate complex algorithmic risks, tradeoffs, and outcomes to senior leadership and customers.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience to perform the role.
- 8+ years architecting, developing, and delivering complex C++ commercial applications.
- Proven technical leadership with ownership of algorithmic quality, runtime, reliability, and memory use.
- Hands-on depth in at least one major EDA area (simulation, synthesis, formal verification, equivalence checking, static analysis, etc.).
- Strong algorithms and data-structures skills for digital logic analysis and transformation.
- Practical knowledge of SoC design and verification flows and how EDA tools are used in production.
- Experience building performant, scalable systems (concurrency, distributed execution) able to handle very large designs.
- Expert programming and debugging skills in modern C++; proficient in Linux.
- Understanding of hardware description languages and simulation semantics (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL).
- Collaborative communication style; ability to work cross-functionally and operate in a fast-paced environment.
