Collaborate with design, verification, manufacturing and product teams to define RAS goals, strategy and roadmaps and deliver end-to-end solutions that meet lifecycle and deployment requirements.
Experience Level
Senior-level β requires 10+ years of SoC development experience with emphasis on RAS architecture.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Define RAS requirements and goals for next-generation SoCs targeting data centers.
- Architect scalable RAS solutions that balance power, performance and area while meeting availability targets.
- Specify and guide implementation of ECC, parity, error logging, detection and mitigation strategies.
- Lead RAS activities across front-end design, physical implementation and verification teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data-center reliability and availability standards.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and skills:
- 10+ years in SoC development focused on RAS architecture.
- Deep understanding of data-center availability and reliability expectations.
- Expertise in fault detection, error handling and resiliency techniques for large-scale compute platforms.
- Experience collaborating across hardware and software teams to deliver architecture and implementations.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience designing and deploying RAS strategies for Arm-based architectures.
- Familiarity with reliability modeling, stress and aging analysis, and silicon health monitoring.
- Understanding of firmware and software roles in RAS implementations and relevant industry specifications (PCIe, CXL, JEDEC).
- Hands-on experience with failure analysis, silicon debug workflows, or safety/high-availability systems.
Education Requirements
Master's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline preferred; or equivalent practical experience.
