Principal/Senior Engineer, IP Engineering

Role Summary

Individual contributor on the IP Engineering team in Hsinchu responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-performance compute processor IP products. Participates in technical engagements, product development, verification, and cross-site collaboration to ensure quality delivery.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical contributions, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Contribute to planning, detailed work plans, and technical specifications for assigned function.
• Perform hands-on architecture analysis, micro-architecture, logic design and implementation.
• Execute formal verification, simulation verification, and engineering flow development.
• Support signoff, delivery processes, and system bring-up activities.
• Share technical knowledge, promote execution discipline, and improve team capability and methodology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-site teams on customer engagement, methodology development, and quality improvement.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes.

• Programming or scripting experience: SystemVerilog, C/C++, Python, Perl, or similar.
• Experience with digital frontend design, implementation, verification, validation, or analytic modeling/profiling for computational technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Ability to read technical specifications and translate requirements into engineering solutions.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Nice-to-have: Internship experience, research publications, or demonstrated technical achievements in relevant domains.

Education Requirements
