Role Summary
Lead cross-functional, matrix teams to deliver services engagements and technical initiatives for external customers. Own project execution from initiation through delivery with technical and commercial accountability, coordinating with account, sales, field, and services teams.
Experience Level
Senior β typically requires 10+ years of technical project management or engineering leadership experience.
Responsibilities
Manage project delivery, schedules, resources, and customer communications for complex engineering engagements.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet project milestones on schedule and within budget.
- Create, maintain, and track project plans, schedules, and key milestones; report project health and KPIs.
- Identify and mitigate risks; resolve critical issues that threaten delivery.
- Manage and prioritize resource allocation across engineering teams.
- Communicate technical and commercial status to customers and Cadence management; support negotiations as needed.
- Ensure quality of deliverables and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Must-have technical and management experience.
- 10+ years of technical project management or engineering leadership with responsibility for complex, concurrent projects.
- Proven experience delivering services engagements that involve specialized engineering work (Analog, SoC, Verification, or Package/Board design).
- Strong background in IC design, SoC verification, RTL, or IP development.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills; able to convey complex technical concepts to both executive stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Proven ability to manage schedules and budgets and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Ability to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally, to support customer engagements and team collaboration.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field. PMP or an equivalent project management certification is a major plus.
