Principal Program Manager, PMO – Graphics & Compute
Role Summary
Lead end-to-end program management for Graphics DRAM (GDDR) and Compute product portfolios from New Product Introduction (NPI) through High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) readiness. Senior individual contributor responsible for program execution, cross-functional governance, AI-enabled workflow improvements, and representing program status to executive stakeholders.

Senior — typically requires 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, product development, or program management.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include program leadership, cross-business-unit coordination, AI integration into PMO workflows, and driving continuous improvement across program processes.
- Own end-to-end delivery for GDDR and Compute products from planning through qualification and HVM ramp.
- Establish and run Product Development Teams (PDTs) with structured meetings, clear agendas, decision logs, and accountability.
- Align product development targets across Engineering, R&D, Operations, Manufacturing, and Business Units; resolve cross-functional conflicts.
- Identify and manage critical-path risks; escalate and drive resolution when issues exceed PDT scope.
- Manage handoffs from NPI to sustaining PDTs and Manufacturing/Supply Chain at HVM ramp.
- Maintain program health frameworks and serve as the single source of truth for portfolio status.
- Lead cross-BU governance forums for wafer allocation, prioritization, and escalation.
- Drive AI and automation initiatives to improve meeting intelligence, status reporting, risk identification, and dashboard analytics.
- Facilitate lessons-learned workshops, retrospectives, and PMO continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent programs at executive-level reviews and influence decisions without direct authority.
Requirements
Core qualifications and skills required for success in this role.
- 10+ years of experience delivering complex, multi-phase semiconductor programs from NPI through HVM ramp.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional, geographically distributed Product Development Teams.
- Experience owning cross-organizational governance forums, prioritization, and escalation management.
- Experience with AI tools, workflow automation, or digital transformation initiatives in a program management or operations context.
- Strong program scheduling skills; ability to assess and communicate schedule health, critical path, and risk to executives.
- Data-driven decision-making experience using program metrics, dashboards, and analytics.
- Excellent written, verbal, and executive presentation skills; ability to influence without authority.
- Self-directed, structured, and comfortable operating with ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with emerging Compute memory programs.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, SAP HANA, and Teamcenter.
- Experience mentoring or formally coaching other program managers.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field) is preferred. PMP or an equivalent project management certification is listed as a preferred credential.
