Principal Product Manager - Memory Interfaces
Role Summary
The Principal Product Manager will define and drive the strategy, positioning, and go-to-market activities for Synopsys' memory interface IP (DDR, LPDDR, HBM). The role bridges Sales, R&D, and applications engineering to accelerate customer evaluations, produce technical collateral, and support pre-sales technical programs.

Responsibilities
Own technical enablement and customer engagement for memory interface IP; coordinate cross-functional activities to shorten evaluation and adoption cycles.
- Respond to customer technical requests and provide databooks, product information, and technical collateral.
- Review customer requirements and ensure alignment with intended use cases and product capabilities.
- Enter, track, and manage customer requests and inquiries in CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent).
- Develop and process customer-facing IP quotes, including requests for enhancements or customizations, collaborating with Sales and R&D.
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations and update technical materials as protocols and products evolve.
- Lead pre-sales technical engagements and act as the technical point of contact for the global sales organization.
- Represent the product externally through white papers, webinars, and industry events; capture market feedback to influence product direction.

Must-have: Technical familiarity with JEDEC-standard DDR, LPDDR, or HBM SDRAM interfaces and the ability to explain protocol tradeoffs to technical and executive audiences.

Must-have: Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills for customer-facing and internal collateral.

Must-have: Experience working with Sales and Product Management and relaying customer technical requirements to R&D.

Must-have: Ability to manage customer requests, produce quotes, and coordinate cross-functional responses.

Nice-to-have: Practical understanding of the ASIC design flow, system design, signal integrity, and timing closure.

Education Requirements
