Role Summary
Lead strategy and product initiatives for Synopsys ICV LVS focused on established process nodes and their interaction with advanced nodes in 3D and chiplet ecosystems. Influence product management, R&D, and sales to drive adoption, partner collaboration, and competitive differentiation.
Experience Level
Senior — requires 15+ years of relevant EDA/semiconductor product management and marketing experience.
Responsibilities
Own strategy, product definition, and go-to-market alignment for LVS in established process nodes while ensuring compatibility with advanced-node initiatives.
- Define and execute ICV LVS strategies for established nodes that align with advanced-node product plans and business goals.
- Advocate for connectivity and reliability checking across multi-node 3D/chiplet designs within Synopsys and to external partners.
- Collaborate with senior product management, R&D, and sales to translate foundry requirements into implementable design kits and product features.
- Train and assist technical sales to develop benchmarks and customer engagements that drive adoption.
- Coach R&D on interpreting LVS Design Rule Manual intent for efficient implementation in ICV design kits.
- Drive partner initiatives and negotiate partnerships that produce distinctive LVS solutions.
Requirements
Must-have technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to execute at senior levels across product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
- Deep understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem and LVS methodology, especially as it relates to multi-node 3D/chiplet designs.
- Expertise in interpreting and negotiating foundry LVS Design Rule Manuals to guide R&D implementation.
- Proven ability to influence senior management and build a product management capability that supports sales and global customers.
- Established relationships within LVS organizations at leading semiconductor companies and the ability to represent Synopsys externally.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to explain complex technical trade-offs concisely to executives.
- Ability to work independently on high-impact initiatives while building a team over time.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to engage directly with customers and sales.
Education Requirements
BS in Electrical Engineering and/or Device Physics required; MS in a related field preferred.
