Principal Product Manager – CDBU DRAM

Role Summary

Lead DRAM product strategy and lifecycle for Micron's Data Center Business Unit (CDBU), focusing on data center and AI workloads. Partner with engineering, marketing, customers and industry partners to define technical requirements, influence the roadmap, and drive product adoption across the server ecosystem.

Experience Level

Senior — the posting requests 3–5 years of product management or product development experience in the semiconductor industry; advanced experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Define and drive multi-year DRAM product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle execution.
  • Translate customer and market needs into clear technical product requirements and value propositions.
  • Serve as the DRAM product expert with customers and industry partners and represent product direction in external engagements.
  • Lead demand forecasting strategy, including competitive analysis and market modeling.
  • Identify and integrate high-value AI use cases into product planning and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery and execution.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications (concise):

  • Must-have: 3–5 years of product management or product development experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Must-have: Experience defining technical product requirements and managing cross-functional execution.
  • Must-have: Strong technical foundation in data center products or memory solutions.
  • Must-have: Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach; experience applying AI tools to workflows.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with JAMA, JIRA, or similar requirements-management tools.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and server ecosystem trends.
  • Nice-to-have: Strong communication and presentation skills with customer-facing experience.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required. A Master’s degree in engineering, product management, or a related field is preferred. The posting explicitly allows equivalent practical experience in lieu of a degree.
