Work closely with cross-functional teams, foundries, and test/assembly partners to optimize yield, cost, cycle time and quality for analog, mixed-signal and power-management ICs. Hybrid role; typically expected onsite ~3 days per week.
Experience Level
Senior / Principal level. Title implies seniority; specific years of experience not stated.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities for successful NPI and production support.
- Define test coverage, test flow, characterization and qualification plans for NPI.
- Project-manage multiple NPI projects from kickoff to production with clear cross-functional communication.
- Set up and maintain NPI infrastructure: schedules, resource allocation and delivery milestones.
- Support complete product lifecycle: design validation, prototypes, manufacturing bring-up, and RMA/sustaining engineering.
- Define and execute wafer sort and final test strategies for power management ICs (PMICs), including ATE validation.
- Perform failure analysis and provide RMA support to identify and resolve production issues.
- Drive yield, cost, cycle time and quality improvement initiatives.
- Use software tools and data analysis to support test development and yield improvement activities.
