Role Summary

Integrate and develop digital design flows and synthesis tools with foundries' advanced process technologies to meet customer performance and delivery criteria. Work closely with R&D and foundry partners to deliver high-quality Cadence Genus synthesis platform solutions and provide onsite technical consulting to customers.

Experience Level

Senior-level. The posting requests front-end synthesis expertise (over 5 years) and significant ASIC flow experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on technical integration, customer support, and collaboration across R&D and foundry teams.

• Develop or integrate digital design flows/tools with Cadence methodologies for foundry advanced process nodes.
• Collaborate with R&D and foundry engineering to deliver Genus synthesis platform solutions to customers.
• Manage onsite technical consulting for synthesis flows and lead resolution of complex technical issues.
• Analyze customer problems, communicate findings, and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Prioritize tasks and projects, estimate completion time, and coordinate resources.
• Align with R&D on goals, strategy, planning, and prioritization for customer engagements.
• Contribute directly to customer success through proactive problem investigation and delivery.

Technical and interpersonal qualifications required to perform the role.

Must-have:

• Front-end synthesis expertise; posting specifies over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with ASIC design flow customization and development.
• Familiarity with UPF or CPF for power intent management.
• Familiarity with LEC (logic equivalence checking).
• Familiarity with static timing analysis (STA).
• Effective interpersonal communication and analytical skills; good command of written and spoken English.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Cadence Genus digital synthesis platform.
• Proven customer-facing consulting or onsite support experience.
• Team-oriented attitude and strong customer focus.
