Role Summary

Principal Product Engineer for the Integrity 3D-IC product responsible for developing and integrating EDA tools and engines into a consolidated 3D-IC platform.

Work closely with R&D and field teams to deliver system planning, implementation, analysis/verification, and provide technical support to customers.

Experience Level

Senior (Principal) engineering role requiring significant hands-on and cross-team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on product engineering for 3D-IC EDA solutions and customer-facing technical enablement.

• Develop and integrate EDA tools and engines into the consolidated 3D-IC platform.
• Implement and enhance flows for 3D-IC system planning, implementation, analysis, and verification.
• Collaborate with R&D groups to design and validate solutions across multiple teams.
• Engage with field teams for customer support, technical guidance, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate across internal teams to enable delivery of EDA solutions to customers.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for successful performance in this role.

• Hands-on experience with physical implementation, place-and-route, and signoff tools.
• Familiarity with Cadence digital flows and advanced packaging design using Allegro Package Designer.
• Proficient scripting skills (TCL, Perl, YAML, Python).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Customer-oriented attitude and effective verbal/written communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: direct experience with 3D-IC system planning, implementation, analysis, and signoff flows.

Education Requirements

BS degree plus 7+ years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry, or MS degree plus 5+ years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry. (No specific fields of study or certifications were mandated; the posting references engineering degrees.)
