Role Summary
Senior engineering role responsible for developing and maintaining system-level network simulation models and tools to evaluate performance, scalability, and fault tolerance for NICs, switches, and future system architectures.
This is a remote/teleworker position; the role collaborates closely with network architects, ASIC designers, and software teams to inform architecture and implementation decisions.

Senior β 10+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include building simulation infrastructure, running experiments, and delivering actionable analysis.
- Develop and maintain simulation models for NICs, switches, and system architectures.
- Design and implement simulation motifs and realistic network scenarios to exercise architectures.
- Create tools and visualizations for performance analysis and result interpretation.
- Evaluate performance, scalability, and fault tolerance of proposed architectures; identify bottlenecks and trade-offs.
- Apply software engineering best practices to ensure reliable, maintainable simulation code and workflows.
- Collaborate with network architects, ASIC designers, and software engineers to validate assumptions and guide design decisions.
