Role Summary
Lead development of system-level network simulations for NICs, switches and future system architectures. The role focuses on building realistic simulation motifs, performance analysis tools, and collaborating with architects and ASIC/software teams to inform design decisions.

Responsibilities
Primary duties include:
- Develop and maintain simulation models for NICs, switches, and system architectures.
- Design and implement simulation motifs and scenarios to exercise realistic network behavior.
- Create tools for performance analysis and visualization.
- Evaluate performance, scalability, and fault tolerance of proposed architectures.
- Apply software engineering best practices to ensure reliable and efficient simulation outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with network architects, ASIC designers, and software engineers.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience in network/system simulation or architecture.
- Proficiency in C++ for simulation modeling and Python for analysis.
- Strong understanding of network architecture and system-level design.
- Experience analyzing architectural trade-offs and optimization strategies.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with NIC and switch architectures.
- Background in VLSI/ASIC system design.
- Experience with large-scale simulation infrastructures and visualization tools.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
