Goal: deliver scalable, reusable verification environments and ensure first-pass silicon success across processors, accelerators, memory, connectivity and sensor subsystems.
Experience Level
Senior - typically 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate verification activities across subsystems and full SoC programs; develop infrastructure and processes to achieve coverage closure and signoff.
- Define chip-level and subsystem-level verification strategies and signoff criteria.
- Create test plans, coverage plans and verification methodologies (UVM).
- Lead development of UVM-based, reusable verification environments and scalable frameworks.
- Drive verification of CPU subsystems, interconnects, DMA engines, memory, security/safety functions, sensor data pipelines and peripherals.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, physical design, emulation and prototyping teams.
- Establish and track verification KPIs, coverage (functional, code, assertions) and dashboards.
- Mentor and lead verification engineers and make signoff readiness decisions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience to perform the role; preferred skills listed separately.
- Must-have: 15+ years of relevant industry experience in SoC verification and leadership.
- Must-have: Extensive experience with UVM-based verification and building reusable verification environments.
- Must-have: Proven experience verifying complex SoCs (processors, accelerators, interconnects, memory, DMA, peripherals, sensor data paths).
- Must-have: Experience defining and tracking coverage metrics and driving coverage/closure to signoff.
- Must-have: Strong technical leadership, cross-functional coordination, and mentorship skills.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with emulation and prototyping.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with safety and security verification and performance verification.
