Principal Engineer Quantum Technology Development
The Principal Engineer will support 300mm semiconductor manufacturing and technology development in Malta, NY, focusing on silicon photonics process integration, yield improvement, and ramping a 45nm Silicon Photonics product from development to mature production.
The role owns a technology module, defines and executes experiments, analyzes technical data, and coordinates cross-functional teams to meet performance, reliability, defectivity, cost, and delivery targets.
Senior β position expects substantial prior experience. Typical experience guidance provided by the employer: BS + 4 years, MS + 2 years, or PhD + 1 year of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities include ownership of technology ramp, process integration, data-driven issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination.
