Principal Engineer, Project Engineering Management
Role Summary
Lead cross-functional engineering programs to deliver Silicon IP and SoC/ASIC solutions globally. Act as the primary stakeholder contact, define project scope and schedules, and coordinate R&D, product, and customer teams to ensure on-time, quality delivery.
Improve delivery processes, mentor team members, and influence product direction through customer engagement and program execution.
Experience Level
Senior - typically 7β12 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, Silicon IP, SoC, or related engineering environments.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include program leadership, stakeholder communication, planning, execution, and team mentorship.
- Lead and coordinate global cross-functional teams to deliver Silicon IP projects from planning through completion.
- Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders and customers; manage expectations and communications.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and milestones aligned with business and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules using industry-standard tools.
- Monitor execution, analyze project performance, and ensure delivery meets quality and schedule targets.
- Resolve cross-team conflicts and remove blockers to keep programs on track.
- Enable transparent communication across global teams and with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor team members and promote best practices in execution, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
Requirements

- 7β12 years of experience leading or coordinating complex, cross-functional technical projects or programs.
- Experience in semiconductor development environments, including Silicon IP, SoC, ASIC, or Mixed-Signal IP.
- Proven experience managing customer expectations and communications on technical programs.
- Familiarity with project/program management methodologies and tools; experience with quality management systems and delivery processes.
- Comfortable working in Linux-based engineering environments and associated workflows.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills; ability to work with distributed/global teams.
Education Requirements
