Principal Engineer, Device Engineering

Role Summary

Develop and optimize semiconductor devices and processes to enable device characterization and support new technology development. Work cross-functionally to introduce new features, drive technology advancement, and improve device performance and manufacturability while maintaining EHS and operational compliance.

Hands-on principal-level engineering role influencing device technology and process integration across projects and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Accountable for technical leadership, project execution, and cross-functional integration of device engineering activities.

• Lead development, optimization, and implementation of advanced device engineering methodologies and processes.
• Solve complex technical challenges and drive improvements to device technologies and engineering practices.
• Plan, execute, and support device development projects and contribute to large-scale engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, integrate, and introduce new technologies and process enhancements.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers and project team members to support capability development.
• Contribute to technical publications, conference presentations, and patent activity.
• Engage with suppliers, research partners, and industry consortia to evaluate emerging technologies and support technical roadmaps.
• Support technical reviews and ensure alignment with business, quality, and operational objectives.

Requirements

Education Requirements

Graduating with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited degree program. Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 required.
