Responsibilities

The position involves hands-on analog IP design and verification across process and system levels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Design analog IP blocks in collaboration with analog design leads and architects.
  • Simulate circuits across process corners and operating conditions.
  • Develop behavioral and device models for inclusion in top-level mixed-signal simulations.
  • Perform block-level silicon validation and system-level laboratory evaluation.
  • Contribute to high-speed interface, PLL/DLL and ADC/DAC design and integration activities.
  • Work with multi-site teams and support documentation and handoffs required for SoC integration.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; listed as concise must / preferred distinctions.

  • Must-have: Minimum 5 years of direct experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Must-have: Practical experience with ADCs, DACs, filters, PLLs, DLLs and high-speed I/Os.
  • Must-have: Strong fundamentals in circuit theory, circuit design and layout.
  • Must-have: Hands-on experience with Cadence IC design flow and tools.
  • Must-have: Scripting and automation experience using Skill, Python, Perl and Tcl.
  • Must-have: Proficiency in Verilog-A for behavioral modeling and analog simulation.
  • Preferred: System-level mixed-signal design expertise and familiarity with MEMS driver circuits.
  • Preferred: Experience collaborating with multi-site teams; good communication and teamwork skills.
