Role Summary

Responsible for creating, analyzing and reviewing test correlation data and for developing and improving test process methods and controls in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Works with equipment and materials teams to meet technology specifications and drives continuous improvement of test process performance.

Salary range: $103,688–$120,000 (exact salary determined by qualifications, experience and location).

Experience Level

Senior role. Requires 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in IT/Electrical Engineering related roles, with hands-on semiconductor test experience as described below.

Responsibilities

Hands-on and process responsibilities for semiconductor test processes and equipment.

• Create, analyze and review test correlation data.
• Develop and modify test process methods and controls; establish SOPs and FMEA for test processes.
• Review product development requirements for compatibility with test methods and estimate costs and enablement schedules.
• Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement plans (CIP) to improve test process performance metrics.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver organizational goals.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Requirements

Must-have technical experience and demonstrated skills relevant to semiconductor test engineering.

• Hands-on experience developing and using test data analysis tools such as C++, R, WebData, or Shiny in a semiconductor manufacturing setting.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing tester control and production control applications.
• Experience running, debugging and supporting Tester, Prober, and Handler platforms.
• Experience with test program functionality and integration/interaction with test equipment.
• Proven ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing test processes and capability metrics; experience driving process improvement.

Education Requirements

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. The posting also specifies 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related IT/Electrical Engineering roles.
