Principal Electrical Test Engineer - Power Modules and Power Discretes

Role Summary

Define and deliver test and characterisation strategies for wide-bandgap and silicon power semiconductor products, ensuring performance, quality and reliability from development through production. Work with R&D, Quality and Operations to validate prototypes, transfer designs to manufacturing, and improve test methods and data analysis.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on electrical test and device characterisation across development and production stages.

• Define and execute final test and characterisation plans.
• Support prototype validation and transfer to manufacturing.

• Perform device characterisation: electrical, thermal and dynamic measurements.
• Contribute to product development and failure analysis activities.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality and Operations teams.
