Experience Level

Senior β€” typically requires 8+ years of design verification experience, preferably in CPU or SoC verification.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities involve verification of CPU cores and associated subsystems, working with architects and designers to ensure functional correctness and coverage closure.

  • Perform functional verification of CPU cores and subsystems (coherency and cache controllers).
  • Interpret microarchitectural specifications and define verification strategies.
  • Develop verification plans, testbenches, and test cases.
  • Write directed and constrained-random tests in SystemVerilog, C, and assembly.
  • Use UVM-based environments for coverage-driven verification and analyze coverage reports.
  • Automate regression and verification flows using scripting (Python, Perl, Shell).
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to debug issues and improve design quality and performance.
  • Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security practices in all activities.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience required to perform the role.

  • 8+ years of experience in design verification, preferably with CPU or SoC projects.
  • Hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM; constrained-random verification experience.
