Role Summary

Lead design and optimization of DRAM circuit blocks from gate level to full-chip implementation. Work with product, test, process integration, and validation teams to deliver high-performance, manufacturable memory designs.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical leadership of circuit design, validation, and cross-functional integration.

• Design and optimize memory circuits, including arrays, control logic, address decode, datapath, and internal test logic.
• Lead schematic and block development through gate-level and full-chip implementation.
• Perform advanced circuit simulations and behavioral verification using industry tools (SPICE, Verilog, and similar).
• Drive architectural trade-offs for power, speed, die area, and overall circuit performance.
• Collaborate with technology development, product engineering, test, probe, assembly, and marketing to define design rules and validation strategies.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Proven experience in semiconductor circuit design, layout, and optimization for memory or similar mixed-signal products.
• Proficiency with circuit simulation and design tools such as SPICE and Verilog.
• Ability to interpret product requirements, logic diagrams, and device specifications and translate them into design implementations.
• Experience evaluating and modifying semiconductor devices and components for circuit integration and performance.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience leading complex circuit-design projects or technical teams.
• Background in memory architecture, CMOS device behavior, reliability, test-chip definition, and silicon validation.
• Proven innovation or patents in circuit design or semiconductor technology.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
