Role Summary

Deliver advanced ASIC designs for high-performance storage controllers from concept through production silicon. The role owns micro-architecture, RTL development, and cross-discipline collaboration with verification, STA, and physical design teams.

The team focuses on complex SoC subsystems and uses automation and AI-assisted tools to improve engineering efficiency and quality.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Accountable for front-end RTL design and integration into larger subsystems, and for collaborating across the design flow to meet performance, timing, and quality goals.

• Design, implement, and debug complex RTL and integrate IP into subsystems.
• Support front-end design flow: lint, CDC analysis, synthesis, and ECO activities.
• Collaborate with SoC design, verification, STA, and physical design teams to deliver silicon.
• Develop automation scripts to improve productivity and reduce manual errors.
• Use AI-assisted tools to enhance debugging, documentation, and code quality.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for immediate contribution.

• 10+ years of ASIC design experience working on large, complex designs.
• Strong expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL and/or testbench development.
• Deep understanding of digital ASIC design methodologies and the full design flow.
• Experience with synthesis and static timing tools (for example Design Compiler, PrimeTime, or similar).
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, high-quality silicon projects.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with AMBA AXI/AHB interconnects.
• Familiarity with storage/memory protocols (NVMe, SCSI, CXL, DDR).
• Experience with verification and CAD tools (for example ncsim, Formality).
• Proficiency in Python or similar for EDA automation.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applying AI-enabled features in EDA tools.
