Role Summary

The Principal DC SSD Technical Program Manager (TPM) leads SSD program execution, tracking, and cross-functional alignment for data center SSD products. The role enforces product lifecycle processes, milestone delivery, and program health reporting across engineering and support teams.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Posting specifies a minimum of 5 years of relevant electronic/semiconductor system development and program management experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning, tracking, and reporting on SSD development programs to ensure on-time delivery and product quality.

• Execute Micron SSD Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and enforce Boundary Agreements.
• Hold engineering teams accountable for interim and final product milestones and requirements.
• Drive cross-functional program alignment and capture low-level dependencies.
• Provide weekly program health metrics and status reporting to stakeholders.
• Track build plans, budgets, and delivery into development teams.
• Generate program status reports covering technical status, schedule, risk, and quality.
• Collaborate with other SSD TPMs and process owners to improve SSD processes and tool usage.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience for successful performance in this role.

• Minimum 5 years experience in electronic/semiconductor system development; experience with SSD or mass data storage systems preferred.
• Minimum 5 years program management experience.
• Strong meeting leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills to drive resolution and next steps.
• Proven ability to work effectively with internal and external cross-functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with engineering, management, and executive audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, self-motivate, and maintain focus on delivery.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Industrial, or Management fields) is specified.
